Shaun Foster

Shaun Foster is the Principal of Foster Immigration. He joined the practice in 2007, originally working as an Associate Attorney in Mr. Alan Pampanin’s boutique immigration practice through 2019. In 2020, Shaun & Alan became business partners, forming “PampaninFoster, LLC”. The firm moved to Woburn, MA in 2023 and Mr. Pampanin retired from the practice of law in 2024.

Shaun is an experienced business immigration practitioner, with more than twenty years of experience in that specific legal discipline (having only worked as an immigration advocate his entire career). Shaun today represents over 90 US organizations, managing their full immigration programs, both temporary work visas and more longer-term Green Card matters. This includes traditional options like the H-1B, TN-1/2, L-1A/B, O-1A, F-1 opportunities, and also EB-1/2 & 3 Green Card support. Shaun has a background in I-9 compliance as well. This includes ICE HSI and client field work for conducting onsite internal audits and HR training seminars.

Beyond business immigration, Shaun also does substantial work representing families and foreign individuals in obtaining US Citizenship through naturalization, while also helping foreign family of US Citizens immigrate permanently to the US and secure Green Cards that way. This work most commonly involves managing “marriage cases” (of US Citizens and foreign spouses), as well as those involving elderly overseas parents (desiring to retire in the US at end of life).

Shaun proudly is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”). He greatly enjoys presenting immigration-themed programs to local area schools and business associations. Shaun is a member of ProVisors, a professional networking organization that requires 10 years of service time for all professionals so attached to join.
Like his Grandfather before him, Shaun is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School (2007). Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut (2000), where he majored in government, played bass in the band, Space Coyote, and met his wife, Rachel (she also a Camel).

Shaun and his family live in North Reading, MA, only 17 minutes from the firm’s Woburn, MA office. Shaun is a third-generation American himself, his strong love of culture spawned largely as a child in his Grandmother’s Lowell, MA kitchen, one of the great historical “melting pots” of the United States.
